How Slogan Length Can Impact a Slogan’s Effectiveness

A slogan is something that is important to business. The effectiveness of the slogan is important to consider because it can make an impact on long term business sales. The best prize winning slogans are ones that will be helpful for the business in the future. The slogan length is one of the factors that will make an impact on the effectiveness of the slogan.

The best thing to use for slogan length is to consider whether or not any rhythm is going to be used for the slogan. It can be fine to use a couple additional words and extend the slogan length if the slogan is one that is going to have some kind of rhyme or rhythm on purpose. Besides, a good rhyme can’t be written in a shorter amount of space.

Another of the aspects of prize winning slogans that should be considered is that some of the best slogans do not last very long. A slogan should be as short as it can be so that it can not only be memorable but the main aspects of the business that are going to be promoted can be quickly emphasized.

Using a slogan of less than ten words in length is something that should be done. Prize winning slogans like “Be a Pepper” for Dr. Pepper soft drinks is something that can be great to use in that they are short and easier for people to remember. The Dr. Pepper example here is effective in that it is short and that it invites people to join the bandwagon of Dr. Pepper drinkers without having to go any further than needed in explaining why.

Getting to the point is something that should always be used for writing a slogan. Using a shorter slogan is going to be useful for this because with fewer words it will be easier to get to the point.

One of the most important things to look into for slogan length is that the length of the slogan will be related to the ability of the audience to remember the slogan. A slogan that lasts twelve words in length will not be as easy to remember as a slogan that is only five words in length. Of course, the rhythm or rhyme that can be used in the slogan can make an exception to this rule. Therefore, if there are no ideas to use for rhyme in the slogan the best option to use is to make a slogan that has an especially short length.

Those are all things to consider for slogan length. The world’s prize winning slogans will generally be short and to the point, and by using these tips the slogan can be just like that. The best thing about these tips is that with a shorter slogan it can be easier to get people to remember the slogan.
